Your Mental Health is a Priority
To our Community Members and attendees,
We hope you are all keeping well.
In our last update on Tuesday we stated that we will be sharing an exclusive segment on mental wellbeing and what we can do while we are at home.
The ISIJ of Toronto has prepared a live online seminar followed by Q&A with Sr. Marzia Hassan on Monday March 23, 2020 at 8:30 pm on ‘Protecting your Mental and Emotional Health during the pandemic’. Be sure to join us at jaffari.org/live.
The COVID-19 health crisis has placed many of us out of our routines. We’re either inundated with work because our place of employment is an essential service during this critical time, or we are working from home (or at least trying), or we are trying to stay on top of our school assignments through e-learning, or if we were already at home, we are now accompanied by our kids and family members. Regardless, it’s a challenging time.
Perspective. It gives you a different outlook in your current situation. Being at home can be a wonderful thing, it’s kind of imposing upon us to slow down a little bit and look at life from a different angle.
Having said that, many of you have been sharing ideas of what we can do from home with our families. We’ve taken the liberty to put together a page of resources and we are hoping, through this platform, we can share ideas and help one another. It’s our community spirit.
Stay safe and healthy, and if you are doing something different at home, share it with us at [email protected]
