The Islamic Shia Ithna-Asheri Jamaat (ISIJ of Toronto) continues to respond to the unprecedented humanitarian crisis and invites all community members to actively participate through prayers, contributions and events.

It’s crucial to centre advocacy, empowerment, understanding, support and unity in times of need as our Palestinian brothers and sisters grapple with devastation.
Supporting relief efforts in Palestine through contributions
The ISIJ of Toronto is collecting donations towards relief efforts in Palestine and partnering with Canadian-registered agencies who are providing on the ground support.
All community members are encouraged to kindly donate in-person at ISIJ of Toronto centres or call 905-695-9786 or online through the website jaffari.org/donate.

Duas and Special Prayer Programs
The community is continually hosting special prayers / duas for the safety of the people of Palestine.

Advocacy through the National Council of Canadian Muslims (NCCM)
To maximize ongoing advocacy efforts and impact, the ISIJ of Toronto is channeling advocacy efforts through the National Council of Canadian Muslims (NCCM).
All community members are encouraged to use the Palestine Advocacy Portal, the new, one-stop portal, that has everything you need to advocate for Gaza and Palestine in Canada, with new information and updates being added everyday.
