Marhum was the husband of Masuma Lakhani. Brother of Kasamali (Kasim) Lakhani.
He was the Father of Yasmin Jaffer (Montreal), Sabira Datoo, Aunali Lakhani, Kauser Tarbhai, Murtuza Lakhani. Marhum is uncle to Shaheen, Aliraza and Alia Lakhani. He leaves behind 8 grand children and two great grand children
