It is with sadness that we share the news of the demise of Br. Nasir-Ul-Mulk Hashmi who passed away in Toronto.

Salāt al-Mayyit will be at the Jaffari Community Centre today, Wednesday, January 20, at 2 pmThereafter, burial will be at Wadi Al-Salaam (10992 Kennedy Road).

In accordance with provincial guidelines, only 10 pre-registered immediate relatives and volunteers will attend Salāt al-Mayyit and the burial. For those unable to attend the Salāt in person, we will be broadcasting the program live from the centre for mu’mīnīn to participate remotely. 
Mu’mīnīn attending the funeral will be required to wear masks, requested to refrain from any physical contact (shaking hands, embracing) and ensure that they respect the physical distancing requirements.

Marhūm was the husband of Marhūma Syeda Nasim Hashmi and the son of Marhūm Mushtaq Ahmed and Iqbal Begum. He was the father of Tahir Mushtaq Hashmi, Hassan Mushtaq Hashmi and Shaista Masoom Haider. He was the father in law of Sadia Tahir Hashmi, Rizwana Hassan Hashmi and Masoom Abbas Haider. He was the grandfather of Tahira, Ahmed, Ali Tahir, Nida, Sana, Omair, Nasir, Sadaf, Madiha, Aown, Shahid and Adil and the great grandfather of Zakir, Zoya, Zara and Raza.
