Update 35 from COVID-19 Crisis Task Force
To our community members and attendees,
Salaam Alaykum.
With completion of the first 12 days of Muharram, we would like to thank everyone who attended our programs and cooperated with our COVID-19 policies that were put in place. With your support we were able to commemorate these nights while keeping our atteendees safe.
The COVID-19 Task Force has reviewed these policies after these 12 days for all four ISIJ of Toronto Centres.
Masks
- As cases are declining, the wearing of masks while attending indoor events is no longer mandatory. We still do encourage all attendees to wear masks, especially those who are immunocompromised.
Self-attested screening
- We still ask anyone to refrain from coming to our Centres for in-person events if you have tested positive for COVID-19 or if you have any symptoms consistent with COVID-19
Vaccinations
- Stay up-to-date with COVID 19 vaccinations as recommended by Ontario Public Health. This includes boosters and vaccinations for children.
The Task Force will review the COVID-19 situation on an on-going basis and provide updates on any changes to our policies, especially with our upcoming Ashre-Zainabiyya programs.
With your ongoing support and cooperation we will continue to run our programs for our community in the safest way possible.
