A Special Presentation on the Genocide of Rohingya Muslims
The Media, Communication & Outreach Board of the Islamic Shia Ithna-Asheri Jamaat of Toronto cordially invites all community members to attend a special presentation on the genocide of the Rohingya Muslims on Saturday, April 21st, at the Jaffari Community Centre, Mulla Asghar Memorial Library and Islamic Resource Centre (MARC).
Join us for an afternoon of indepth discussion about the plight of the Rohingya Muslims and the role we can play as Canadians in alleviating the dire situation facing the Rohingya. Our keynote speaker is Imam Abdul Malik Mujahid, Chair of Burma Task Force.
The event will begin at 3:00 p.m. and end with networking and refreshments. The program consists of the following:
– Meet & Greet
– Opening Prayer and Opening Remarks by the Islamic Shia Ithna-Asheri Jamaat of Toronto
– A special presentation by Imam Abdul Malik Mujahid
– A Question & Answer session.

He is an award-winning author and a producer with a focus on contemporary social issues, public policy and Islam-West relations. Imam Mujahid has been selected four times since 2011 as one of the 500 most influential Muslims in the world.
