Moonsighting for Dhul Qa`dah 1443 AH

The Islamic Shia Ithna-Asheri Jamaat of Toronto would like to inform its members that the first day of the month of Dhul Qa`dah  1443 AH will be Wednesday, June 1st, 2022.

Imam al-Jawād (a) has said:

At the beginning of each month and on the first day, a two-unit prayer may be offered. In the first unit, Sura al-Fatiha is recited once and Sura al-Tawhid repeated thirty times. In the second, Sura al-Fatiha is recited once and Sura al-Qadr repeated thirty times. After completing it, alms should be given. One who does so will gain safety throughout that month.
