Date of Burial: Saturday December 19, 2020 (4 Jumādā al-Ūlā 1442 AH)

Cemetery: Wadi Al-Salaam (10992 Kennedy Road)

 

It is with sadness that we share the news of the demise of Sr. Zehra Mahmud Jawad Habib who passed away in Toronto.

Salāt al-Mayyit will be at the Jaffari Community Centre today, Saturday, December 19, at 2:00 pm. Thereafter, burial will be at Wadi Al-Salaam (10992 Kennedy Road).

In accordance with provincial guidelines, only 10 pre-registered immediate relatives and volunteers will attend Salāt al-Mayyit and the burial. For those unable to attend the Salāt in person, we will be broadcasting the program live from the centre for mu’mīnīn to participate remotely. 
Mu’mīnīn attending the funeral will be required to wear masks, requested to refrain from any physical contact (shaking hands, embracing) and ensure that they respect the physical distancing requirements.

Marhūma was the wife of Marhūm al-Haj Mahmud Jawad Habib, mother of Zulfiqarali and Nusrat Abbas Habib, mother in law of Sajida and Ruqayyah Anar, and grandmother of Kumail, Kazim, Fatima, Zaynab, and Mohammed Hassan.
