It is with sadness that we share the news of the demise of Sr. Shamim Hudda who passed away in Toronto.
Salāt al-Mayyit will be at Wadi Al-Salaam (10992 Kennedy Road) today, Friday, November 13th at 3:15 pm. Thereafter, burial will be at Wadi Al-Salaam (10992 Kennedy Road).
Based on our ability to manage the distancing requirements for the congregation, only 25 pre-registered immediate relatives and volunteers will attend Salāt al-Mayyit and the burial. For those unable to attend the Salāt in person, we will be broadcasting the program live for mu’mīnīn to participate remotely.
Mu’mīnīn attending the funeral will be required to wear masks, requested to refrain from any physical contact (shaking hands, embracing) and ensure that they respect the physical distancing requirements.
Marhūma was the daughter of Marhūm Amirali & Nurzera Hudda, mother of Shaneabbas and Mohamed Mehdi Lakha and sister of Shiraz Hudda, Mohamed Abbas Hudda and Fatima Jaffer. She was the sister-in-law of Muntazir Jaffer, Sukaina Hudda and Zaheera Hudda, mother-in-law of Sajeda Ladha and grandmother of Zainab Lakha. She was also the aunt of Aamir, Nabil and Saahil Jaffer and Sameerabbas, Suhail, Zuhairali and Aliyah Hudda.
