It is with sadness that we share the news of the demise of Marhūma Fatmabai Janmohamed in Toronto.
Salāt al-Mayyit will be at the Jaffari Community Centre today, Thursday March 5, 2020, at 2:30 pm. Thereafter, burial will be at Behishte Zahra (101 Senlac Road).
In light of the current precautionary measures taken by ISIJ to close the centre, we request only relatives to attend Salāt al-Mayyit and to enter through Door #3. All are welcome to attend the burial at the cemetery.
Also, note that we recommend avoiding coming to the funeral, if you
(i) have recently traveled to countries under level 3 advisories (China, Italy, S. Korea & Iran), or
(ii) are experiencing any cold / flu like symptoms.
For their own protection, mu’mīnīn are also requested to refrain from physical contact (shaking hands, embracing).
Marhūma is the daughter of Marhūm Mohamedali Meghji and wife of Marhūm Ebrahim Janmohamed. She is the sister of Hussein (Sukhi) and Murtaza Meghji and Raziya bai Jaffer. She is the mother of Ruksana Kaba, Naeem, Naseem, Hussein (Sheni), Saleem and Iqbal Janmohamed.
Please recite Salāt Hadya Mayyit tonight and remember the Marhūma, and the family in your du’ās.
