It is with sadness that we share the news of the demise of Sr. Fatma Aladin Foomkia who passed away in Toronto.
Salāt al-Mayyit will be at the Jaffari Community Centre today, Saturday, May 1, at 2:00 pm. Thereafter, burial will be at Wadi Al-Salaam (10992 Kennedy Road).
Marhūma was the wife of Marhūm Fidahusein Foomkia, and daughter of Marhūm Hassanali and Marhūma Mariam Tejani. She was the mother of Feroza, Naznin, Ali, and Mohammed Iqbal. She was the grandmother of Abbas, Adam, Zerah, Khatija, Shums, Zain, Samira, and Taslima and sister of Marhūm Pyarali Tejani, Marhūma Laila Mithani, Marhūm Asger Tejani, and Khurshid Jahnmohamed,
