It is with sadness that we share the news of the demise of Sr. Amina Bai Jaffer, who passed away today, Friday October 22, 2021 in Mombasa.
Marhūma was the wife of late Hassan AM Jaffer, and daughter of late Mohammad Jaffer Rashid Nathani (Malim Mia). She was the mother of Murtaza (Mombasa), Ebrahim Yasmin (New York), Haider Tahera (Toronto), Fatim Ladak Maqbool (New York), and Nasrin Tejani Hasnain (Dar As Salam). She was the grandmother of Iqbal, Ali Hussein, Khalil Abbas, Miqdad, Ali Reza, Reza, Faiyaz, Zahra, Ali, Minhal, Siraj, Irfan, Fatema, and Maysum. She was great grandmother to Muhammad Jawaad, Husayn, Rahma, Qasim, Noora, Aamena, Kumail, Zaynab, and Maryam.
Marhūma was buried this morning in Mombasa.
