Date of Death: Saturday October 16, 2021 (9 Rabī’ ul-Awwal 1443 AH)

Date of Burial: Sunday October 17, 2021 (10 Rabī’ ul-Awwal 1443 AH)

Cemetery: Wadi Al Salaam, Al Hussain Foundation (10992 Kennedy Road, Markham).

It is with sadness that we share the news of the demise of Br. Nazarali Hasan Ali Okera who passed away in Toronto.

Salāt al-Mayyit will be at the Jaffari Community Centre tomorrow Sunday, October 17, 2021 at 2:00 pm. Thereafter, burial will be at Wadi Al Salaam, Al Hussain Foundation (10992 Kennedy Road, Markham).

Based on our ability to manage the distancing requirements for the congregation, a limited number of pre-registered immediate relatives and volunteers will attend Salāt al-Mayyit and the burial. 
Mu’mīnīn attending the funeral will be required to wear masks, requested to refrain from any physical contact (shaking hands, embracing) and ensure that they respect the physical distancing requirements.

Marhūm was the husband of Masuma Taki Juma Okera. Son of Marhūm Hassan Ali Mohamed Okera and Marhūma Fatema Bai Abdalla Okera. Father of Ismat, Safiya, Husein, Rashid and Abbas Nazarali Ali Okera. He was the Grandfather of  Mariam, Hamza, Ali Ridha, Layla, Aaliyah, Sakina Zahra and Murtaza. He was the brother of Marhūm Nasiruddin Hasan Ali Okera, Marhūm Hashim Hasan Ali Okera and Marhūma Shabnam Hasan Ali Okera
