It is with sadness that we share the news of the demise of Marhum Murtaza Akberali Hassan Walji, who passed away in Vancouver, on Saturday, September 23rd, 2017. Burial will take place on Monday, September 24th, 2017.

Marhum was the husband of Shamim Walji. He was the brother of Dr. Gulam Walji (Toronto), Mohamed Walji (Toronto), Gulzar Dewji (UK), Khurshid Merali (Mombasa) & Mustafa Walji (UK). He was the father of Asif Walji (Vancouver), Salma Fazal (Vancouver), Mahjabeen Sachedina (UK), Masuma Jivraj (USA).
