It is with sadness that we share the news of the demise of Br. Mohamedhusein Nathoo who passed away in Toronto.

Salāt al-Mayyit will be at the Jaffari Community Centre today Friday, September 3, 2021 at 12:00 pm (in the gym). Thereafter, burial will be at York Cemetery (101 Senlac Road).

Based on our ability to manage the distancing requirements for the congregation, a limited number of pre-registered immediate relatives and volunteers will attend Salāt al-Mayyit and the burial. 
Mu’mīnīn attending the funeral will be required to wear masks, requested to refrain from any physical contact (shaking hands, embracing) and ensure that they respect the physical distancing requirements.

Marhūm was the husband of Marhūma Nurbanu Bai Nathoo and the father of Kaneez Bhimji (Vancouver), Ashraf Khalfan (Arizona) and Rehana Ladak (Toronto). He was the brother of Nargis Dungersi (Toronto), Naseem Pardhan (London, ON) and Anver Ali Nathoo (Orlando). He was the grandfather of Najia Bhimji, Jabeene Bhimji, Zahir-Abbas Ladak and Zeenat Ladak.
