Marhūm was the grandfather of Muhammad Irfan Jiwa (Mississauga). He was the son of Marhūm Nazerali Jiwa and Marhūma Kulsumbai Jiwa, husband of Marhūm Nazmakhatun Jiwa (nee Datoo), father to Shahnaine Alimohamed (Stevenage, UK), Tehsean Jiwa (Minneapolis, USA) and Yahsean Jiwa (Nairobi, Kenya).
Mu’mineen are requested to remember the Marhūm with Surah al-Fatiha and Salaatul Hadiya Mayyit.
