It is with sadness that we share the news of the demise of Marhum Al Haj Ghulam AbbasSajan of Thornhill, Ontario, who passed away on Thursday, September 11, 2014. Salaatul Mayyit will take place,Saturday 13th September 2014 at 11am. We will then proceed for burial at YorkCemetary, 101 Senlac Road.

Marhum was the husband of Zarin Sajan, father of Sabrin, Shaheen and Fatima.
He was the brother of Marhuma Fatmabai Sajan (Karachi), Marhuma Rubab Khimji (Switzerland),
Nargis Pradhan (UK), Marzia Datoo (London, ON), Mohamed Sajan (Toronto),
Zinat Salehmohamed (Minnesota), Makbul Sajan (Milwaukee), Nasira Remtulla (Montreal),
Parin Hemani (Wales), Nasim Manji (Vancouver), Nazmul Sajan (Birmingham),
Husein Sajan (Birmingham), Tahera Gulamali (Milton Keynes), Naznin Mohamedtaki (Toronto),
Sabira Fazal (Birmingham).

Marhum served four terms as the President of the ISIJ of Toronto, he was the founder and President of NASIMCO, he was the Vice President of Crescent Village, founder of the Islamic Shia Assembly of Toronto and several other organizations. He dedicated his life to serving the community and will always be remembered for his selfless efforts.
