Dear / Hello / Hi …. ,

I hope my email finds you well! As you may know, I am observing the holy month of Ramadan, where I fast from the break of dawn to sunset. Every year, my mosque, the Jaffari Community Centre, hosts an interfaith iftar (breaking of the fast meal) where we invite our friends and neighbours to join us. Please come on Sunday, June 2, 2019, and truly experience the essence of Ramadan with me and my community.

We will have a brief gathering with all our guests to learn about our community and faith and enjoy some activities (calligraphy, pictures, henna and more), followed by prayers and the iftar meal. Ramadan is an opportunity to connect with others and recognized our shared values, spread generosity, kindness and show empathy and it would be an honour to have you there. I hope you can make it!
