COVID-19 Update – March 1, 2022

To all our Members and participants
Salaam Alaykum,We hope the blessed month of Rajab has brought all of you health and prosperity. As you may be aware, the Government of Ontario has announced that many of the COVID-19 restrictions have been lifted as of March 1, 2022. In accordance with these guidelines issued by the Province, the ISIJ of Toronto will be lifting the following restrictions:

  • Proof of vaccination will be lifted for all programs
  • Capacity limitations will be removed
  • Mandatory social distancing will not be required
  • COVID Registration/Prescreening will no longer be required. Voluntary simplified program registration will be in place to help us plan for adequate tabarruk and niyaz

The above guidelines will be implemented as of March 2, 2022 at all 3 ISIJ of Toronto Centres. As per provincial health guidelines, the wearing of face masks WILL BE REQUIRED  when attending in-person programs.

We know this has been a difficult time, and we appreciate the support we have received as we have attempted to navigate through these unprecedented times.  As the holy months of Sha’ban and Ramadan are upon us, we are more than delighted to welcome all of you back to our Centres to partake in these holy months together.

With Salāms & Du’ās
