The election date for the Jaffari Islamic Youth (JIY) for 2021-2022 term is set for the 15th of Mahe Ramadhan 1441 (*Wednesday, April 28, 2021). This notice is to invite you to #ZoomInTogether and submit your nomination for the position listed below.
Despite the challenging times it is important to take the reins and continue to provide for the Youths of our Community.
IMPORTANT: Please forward or communicate this message to your youth children between the ages of 12-25.

Important points:
- Complete this nomination form and email it to [email protected] no later than 5:00 PM EST on Sunday, April 11th, 2021.
- You have to be a member of ISIJ of Toronto between the ages of 16-25 to stand for election; with the exception of the Director who should be between the ages 18-25.
- Youth members of ISIJ of Toronto between the ages of 12-25 can vote.
- The Proposer and the Seconder must also be members of ISIJ of Toronto

2021 Governance/Ombudsman Election Results
Dear Community Members,
The deadline to submit nominations for the position of 1 new member of the Ombudsman Committee (for a 3-year term) and 1 new member of the Governance Committee (for a 3-year term) was Sunday, March 14, 2021 at 5 PM (Eastern Time, Canada).
We share below the nominations we have received for these positions:
Governance Committee

Ombudsman Committee
Vacant (no nominations received) – Per section of 4.09 f) of the General Operating By-laws, the Board of Directors of ISIJ may fill the position.
